New Staff Join the Team for 2010

Avalon Sciences has continued its period of sustained growth to enhance product quality, performance and customer support.

Our 2010 starters include:

Roger Marriage BA (Hons) MIMechE - General Manager (Back Left)

Roger Marriage has joined Avalon Sciences as general manager with responsibility for production.  Roger  joins Avalon from AgustaWestland where he was previously Head of Quality and Manufacturing Engineering in the Transmissions division.  He has 20 years of experience in the product development and production of mechanical systems for the Aerospace Industry.

Garry Foster - Customer Support Manager (Middle Right)

Garry Foster joins Avalon Sciences as Customer Support Manager. Garry has significant oil and gas industry experience, across a range of technologies and major global organisations, with extensive knowledge of both borehole seismic and electromagnetic acquisition/instrumentation.  Garry joins from PGS EM where he held the position of Instrument Supervisor.

Graham Labdon - Senior Software Engineer (Back Right)

Graham Labdon has joined Avalon Sciences as Senior Software Engineer with the responsibility of maintaining and enhancing the Acq software.

Graham has had extensive experience of software development in a variety of domains ranging from air traffic control to vending machines.

Duncan Day - Assembly Technician (Front Left)

As an accomplished wiring technician Duncan has the responsibility in constructing tool wiring bodies and assembling circuit boards.

Janet Flanagan - Administration Manager (Front Right)

Janet Flanagan will be looking after reception, office supplies and providing admin support to Mike Kennedy, the Logistics Manager.  She has previous admin experience in various companies as well as a background in marketing and design.  Before joining us, Janet was previously a marketing, design and admin consultant.
