Avalon Sciences achieves ISO 9001 Status!

Avalon Sciences has been awarded ISO 9001 in recognition of its product design and manufacture quality and performance.

General Manager Roger Marriage stated that “....the reliability of our equipment is of paramount importance to our customers.  A failure of our equipment in operation or the failure to make a delivery on time, can have a financial impact far greater than the value of the equipment.  To achieve this level of consistency we have continually invested in our own in house manufacturing capability for mechanical parts and electronics. 

As the company grows we recognised the need to put in place a quality management system to maintain and continuously improve the quality of our engineering effort, production processes, and customer service.  Implementing the ISO 9001 standard has given us many benefits already, with, I am sure, more to come as we drive the continuous improvement cycle and engage our customers and suppliers more deeply".

It would not be possible to do this without the support and ideas of all of our employees, and today’s certification ceremony is the reward for all of their efforts, and a good sign for continued success and growth for the company.....”
